THE HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA was established in 1978 as the Orchestra of the City of Hradec Králové, the body was renamed the Symphonic Orchestra Hradec Králové one year later and the State Symphonic Orchestra in 1987.
