Kazan the Wonder Dog was a gifted German shepherd whose $250 a-day film career began in the early 1930s, not long after actor/stuntman Jack King paid an 85 cent fee and bailed him out of a city dog pound. Kazan would later come close to being put on the auction block after King was forced to declare bankruptcy.
