Born in Hollywood. Grew up in a house previously owned by Joseph Calleia. Went to the same high school as Joan Jett. Lived in the same neighborhood as Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, Lee J. Cobb, Herb Vigran, and Peter Mark Richman. Started making films in high school classes taught by Herman Jay. Took acting and vocal classes with Kathy Dunn. Interned at KLSX radio.
