Chris Bernard is an English film director, producer, writer and occasional actor. Born in Liverpool, Bernard started his professional career in the theatre, before moving to cinema and television. He has directed eight films since his acclaimed debut, Letter to Brezhnev, in 1985, including films for BBC Television's prestigious Screen Two and ScreenPlay strands.
