Bob Hilton joined the Parachute Regiment in July 1981. On completion of his training he joined the 2nd Battalion and was sent straight to the Falklands Island.He fought with 2 PARA at Goose Green. From 2000 to 2003 he served as a Senior Non Commissioned Officer on operations in Sierra Leone, Macedonia and Afghanistan.
