The Wild Goose Lake (2019) is Dong Jinsong’s fourth collaboration with director/writer Diao Yinan. In 2003 he shot Diao’s directorial debut Uniform, in 2007, he shot Night Train which premiered in Un Certain Regard at Cannes that year and Black Coal, Thin Ice which won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2014.
