Au début du XVIII° siècle, le capitaine Barclay a vu sa femme et sa fille kidnappées par un infâme planteur, Andrew MacAllister. Celui-ci, qui a vendu la femme comme esclave, élève la fille, Christine, comme la sienne, au cœur d'une île imprenable. Vingt ans plus tard, le capitaine Barclay, devenu un redoutable flibustier, décide de se venger.
