Una notte a Bengali
Partito per l'India nel 1930, un ingegnere francese, affascinato dai misteri e dalle problematiche di quel grande paese, contrae la malaria. Il bramino che gli aveva affidato un incarico di lavoro lo fa curare a sue spese. In casa dell'anfitrione, il giovane si innamora della figlia sedicenne del bramino infrangendo le ancestrali regole dell'India.
