Wrongly imprisoned for the murders of his parents as a young child, Jacob has spent the last 34 years in jail claiming to be innocent. Not only that, he also believes that his parents were killed by a bug that only emerges briefly every seventeen years. There is no longer time to wait as the cicadas are set to emerge.
